Your privacy contact

For questions or requests about your personal information, contact info@cfmotoghana.com. This notice covers this Ghana website and the enquiry and newsletter flows described below. Dealer services and the official CFMOTO RIDE app may involve separate privacy arrangements.

Preparing and sending an enquiry

The quote form uses your name, email, phone number, preferred model and dealer, and any location, colour preference or message you enter. These details stay in the page while you prepare and review the request. They are not saved to a website lead database. Your email app opens only when you choose that action; you then decide whether to send the message. Copying the request is also optional.

When you send an email, the Ghana team and your selected dealer use its contents to answer your request and discuss a quotation. Messages to info@cfmotoghana.com are routed through Cloudflare Email Routing to the team’s designated Gmail mailbox. Your email provider also processes the message under its own arrangements. A quote enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.

Newsletter requests and withdrawal

The optional newsletter form asks for an email address and a separate, unticked marketing consent choice. Submitting it records your email, the consent wording and version, and the submission time in the website’s database, with a pending review status. Repeated requests for the same email do not create duplicate entries.

The form records a request; it does not verify ownership of the email address or send a confirmation email. No mailing campaign runs from this website. The team must review requests before sending marketing.

You can withdraw your request or ask to stop marketing at any time by emailing info@cfmotoghana.com from the relevant address with “Newsletter withdrawal” in the subject. The team handles withdrawal requests manually. Marketing permission is optional and has no effect on requesting a quote.

Hosting, security and retention

The website uses Sites and Cloudflare hosting, with Cloudflare D1 for newsletter requests. These providers may process technical information such as network addresses and request logs to deliver and protect the service. Their infrastructure and the team’s email services may process information outside Ghana. Newsletter entries are not made available through a public subscriber list.

To limit repeated newsletter submissions, the website stores an hourly hash derived from the network address, an attempt counter and an expiry time; it does not store the raw address in that table. These entries expire after up to two hours and are removed when a later signup is processed.

Enquiries and newsletter requests are kept while needed to handle the request and associated recordkeeping. Contact the team to request deletion or a review of information still held. Records needed for legal obligations or a dispute may need to be retained. A fixed retention schedule is being finalised before public launch.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access or correct your personal information, withdraw marketing consent, or request deletion or an explanation of how it is used. The team may need proportionate confirmation of your identity before disclosing or changing a record. You can also raise a concern with Ghana’s Data Protection Commission. Nothing in this notice limits your rights under applicable Ghana law.

The app demo and your browser

The bike-scanning demo uses sample information. It does not access your camera, real vehicle, location or diagnostics. The official CFMOTO RIDE app is a separate service. See our cookies notice for the website’s browser storage and hosting arrangements.
